Filipinos planning to head back home from the UAE to the Philippines can now book their tickets through the limited flights allowed the country for repatriation purposes.
Emirates in Dubai and Etihad in Abu Dhabi have provided specific dates of departure for Filipinos planning to purchase tickets so that they can head back home.
According to their booking websites, here’s how much it costs:
Dubai to Manila via Emirates Airlines:
April 16: Dh 2,500
Abu Dhabi to Manila via Etihad Airways:
April 16 and 17: Dh 5,997
April 21, 23, 24, 28, and 30: Dh 3,209
Do note that official flight dates in May 2020 have yet to be announced by the UAE’s aviation sector and may still be subject to changes.
Posts from the DFA’s OFW Help Facebook page state that all Filipinos headed home will be subject to a 14-day home quarantine following health protocols set by the Philippines’ Department of Health, Bureau of Quarantine.
As of today, April 15, there are still no official announcements yet regarding flights from the Philippines to the UAE.
