2 Hong Kong OFWs recover from COVID-19 

The Hong Kong Health Department has confirmed that two Filipino patients have recovered from the coronavirus disease or COVID-19. 

The Philippine Consulate General said that both of them have already been discharged from the hospital.

The new development now brings down the total number of Filipinos infected by COVID-19 to 17. 

The patients are composed of nine females and eight males. They are undergoing treatment in various hospitals in Hong Kong. 

The Philippine Consulate General said that they are extending all necessary assistance to Filipino nationals.

“We appeal to the Filipino community in Hong Kong to stay at home whenever possible Avoid crowded places when going out and follow recent regulation on social distancing that bans the gathering of more than four people in public places.   Employers must respect the rest day of employees who choose to stay at home,” the statement said.
