Sister honors doctor brother who died from jet crash in NAIA

The family of a doctor who perished in the horrific plane crash on Sunday evening could not yet accept his passing.
Dr. Nicko Bautista’s sister Ria posted a confirmation that he was one of the eight passengers.
“No words can describe how devastating it is to lose a family member in such a horrific way. How do you process something like this. How,” she wrote on her post.
For Ria, her brother fought like a hero.
“All I know is that he fought like a hero and I can only hope that his fight would not be in vain,” she added.
Ria shared a photo of her brother’s last post before the ill-fated accident.
The medical doctor said he can’t wait for all of this to be over.
“For all the worrying to be done. For all the uncertainties to end. I can’t wait to go back to how it was. To see my friends. To drink with my cousins. To kiss my niece. To hug my dad. And for my sister to be well,” he wrote on his caption.
“I can’t wait to not think about if I’m going to be sick or not. If I’m going to be another number on the census board. I can’t wait for this terrible disease to end. But before that time comes, let me do this for you guys.”
The doctor even shared a photo of him with the plane as a background.
