If you belong to the high risk individuals and age group, and suspect that you may have contracted the coronavirus disease (COVID-19), you can now get tested within just 5 minutes.
Located at the Zayed Sports Complex in Abu Dhabi, the center is prioritizing those with chronic illnesses, pregnant women, elderly, as well as people with high-risk preexisting conditions.
Now for people who are not part of the high-risk group, but would want to do the examination, the testing procedure will cost Dh370.
Here are the steps to follow:
1 People are advised to book an appointment first through Estijaba by calling the helpline 8001717.
2 Make sure to answer the pre-screening process related to your health condition with all honesty.
3 Once your appointment is confirmed, show up on time and do not forget to bring your Emirates ID with you.
4 Follow the instructions on signages at the drive-thru testing centre.
5 Results of the tests will be available through SMS and Abu Dhabi Health Services Company (SEHA) app.
The testing centre is open from 8am to 8pm daily and carries out 600 tests each day.
It is the fifth COVID-19 drive-thru testing center in the world.
