COVID-19 patient in Dubai praises UAE's world-class healthcare system

A coronavirus disease (COVID-19) patient in Dubai is extremely impressed with how the healthcare system in UAE works.
In a report by Khaleej Times, Henrik Peter Baerentsen, 41, said that the healthcare system in the country is ‘world class’. He is identified as UAE’s patient 48.
The man said that his two-week isolation in the hospital has been life-changing. He was tested positive on March 11.
He believes that he contracted COVID-19 when he went to Austria for a trip. He later on flew to Dubai on March 8 when he started feeling the symptoms.
“The realization hits you hard. Coronavirus is real and not something that happens to your neighbors,” the Danish national told the Khaleej Times.
The man said that being tested positive for the virus did not caused any panic because he has full confidence on the UAE’s healthcare system.
Barentsen was discharged from the hospital on March 25.
“I am home but confined to my room. I don’t touch anything and my wife has to even make me coffee and give it in my room,” he said.
