President Rodrigo Duterte is celebrating his 75th birthday while in self-quarantine after being exposed to officials who tested positive for coronavirus disease or COVID-19.
In a Facebook post, Senator and former Presidential aide Bong Go said that Duterte cannot celebrate in his favorite ‘karinderya’ for his traditional birthday lunch.

“Dahil home quarantine si Tatay Digong, di muna sya maka almusal sa paborito nyang karinderya sa Davao! STAY at HOME si Tatay Digong sa Birthday nya,” Go said in a post.
The senator also added that Duterte’s wish is for Filipinos to stay at home amid the implementation of the enhanced community quarantine due to the COVID-19 crisis.

“Isa lang wish nya sa birthday nya. Stay at home kayo lahat! Manatili sa inyong tahanan! Pagpuyo lang! Mga kapatid kong Pilipino, Pwede ba regalo na natin kay Tatay Digong?,” Go said.
