Australian home affairs minister tests positive for COVID-19

A senior official of the Australian government has tested positive for coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), Agence France Press reported.
Home Affairs Minister Peter Dutton announced on Twitter that he tested positive for COVID-19.
“This morning I woke up with a temperature and sore throat,” said Dutton who met US Attorney General William Barr and Ivanka Trump during the meeting of FiveEyes intelligence alliance in Washington.
“It is the policy of Queensland Health that anyone who tests positive is to be admitted into hospital and I have complied with their advice,” he added.
It is not yet known how and when he contracted the virus.
Australia has reported 184 cases of COVID-19, along with three deaths as of this posting.
