The NBA announced that it will suspend its season indefinitely after a Utah Jazz player tested positive for the coronavirus.
In a statement, NBA said the suspension would take effect after the completion of Wednesday’s schedule.
“The NBA will use this hiatus to determine next steps for moving forward in regard to the coronavirus pandemic,” the league said.
Earlier NBA called off the game between Utah Jazz and Oklahoma City Thunder right before it starts in Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma City.
Meanwhile, the NBA said the player who tested positive was not present in the arena.
