The UAE is currently experiencing blankets of sand storms as the weather transitions to warmer temperatures.
An official bulleting from the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) warned the public that horizontal visibility would be reduced to less than 2000m until 6:00 pm today, Wednesday February 26.

Temperatures have since inched closer to 40C as the highest temperature reached 37.4C at Mukhariz at 3:30 pm.
