A man is on trial for stealing his workmate’s phone in Fujairah.
The man allegedly stole the mobile phone which was left by his workmate for charging, Khaleej Times reported.
His workmate informed the labor camp about the incident, which prompted management to search all of their workers’ belongings.
However, they did not find the phone.
The management alerted the Fujairah Police, which launched an intensive probe.
The investigation led to the arrest of the accused while selling the phone in another emirate.
During the trial, the accused denied the charges and said: “I found the cell phone when playing with friends at a playground.”
