WATCH: Sheikh Hamdan proud of jetman's flight in Dubai skyline

Dubai has again witnessed another milestone in the field of human flight, said H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Council of Dubai.
In the caption of a video that he uploaded on Instagram, the Dubai Crown Prince said: “A major milestone in the quest to achieve 100% autonomous human flight. Well done boys.”
The short clip shows the man unassisted as he lifts off and leaves the platform.
It showed the view of the Jumeirah Beach Residence skyline in the backdrop.
The jetman in the video is pilot Vince Reffet, who successfully launched into the air from the runway of Skydive Dubai – flying up to 1,800m altitude last Friday.
This autonomous human flight was equipped with a carbon fibre wing which has four mini jet engines.
At an average speed of 130 knots, he flew above 500m in the air in just 19 seconds.
As of this writing, the video has already garnered more than 1.4 million views.
