LOOK: Man saves life of a drowning gecko

Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) just saved a gecko’s life in Australia after it drowned in a beer.
An Australian man named Brett performed the CPR after he saw that the lizard was drowning in his mug of beer.
Brett thought that the staff at The Amble Inn in Corindi Beach, New South Wales, were playing a prank on him.
But after learning they had nothing to with it, he immediately performed chest compressions on the lizard and blowing air into the gecko’s mouth before it starts to move again.
Brett’s friend filmed the video and The Today Show featured it.
However, it said that it was still unclear whether the gecko was merely playing dead as a defense mechanism.
