A high-level trade delegation from Philippines visiting Gulfood 2020 led by Consul General to Dubai and the Northern Emirates, H.E. Paul Raymund P. Cortes, visited Al Maya Supermarket at Murooj Complex to understand how to enhance further the business with Al Maya Group in the UAE.
Al Maya Group’s Group Director Kamal Vachani received the Philippines delegation in the supermarket, with one on one meetings with the buyers’ team of Al Maya Group. The delegation was impressed with the setup of Al Maya Supermarkets and appreciated the efforts taken by Al Maya Group in promoting Philippine products in the UAE.
During the interaction with Philippines delegation, Vachani also stated that Philippine products have been increasingly popular not only among the Filipino community but to other UAE residents of different nationalities as well.
Al Maya Group are currently exhibiting in Gulfood, the region’s Premier Food and Beverage show – in C6-20, Hall 6, added Vachani.
