Man arrested for damaging ex-fiancée’s vehicles in Dubai

Dubai Police arrested a young man for damaging vehicles that belonged to the family of his ex-fiancée.
Authorities received a report from the victim that there were vehicles that got mysteriously damaged in the Al Quoz area, as per reports from Gulf Today.

A CCTV footage showed masked perpetrators on motorcycles pouring liquid solvent over the cars and fled the scene afterwards. Among the perpetrators who were identified in the footage was the victim’s ex fiancée.
According to Brigadier Abdullah Khadem Bin Suroor, the latest technology helped the authorities to identify the suspect based on his built and distinctive clothes that matched the profile of one of the offenders.
The man admitted his crime and said that he committed it with the help of two friends.

He added that the incident was triggered when the victim told his ex that she owed him nothing.
“He justified his criminal deeds as a revenge to a dispute over some money and gifts that his ex-fiancée refused to return when they had broken the engagement,” Suroor expounded.
