A moving video of an elderly couple circulating in Twitter showing them holding hands for the last time in an intensive care unit (ICU) in a hospital in Wuhan broke the hearts of several netizens.
The video uploaded by Jiang Wei was retweeted 14,800 times on Twitter since it was uploaded on Monday.

Wei, a digital diplomat of Wuhan and spokesperson of the Chinese Embassy in Panama, wrote the heartbreaking story behind the video in his caption.
“What does a couple mean? Two elderly patients of coronavirus in their 80s said goodbye in ICU, this could the last time to meet and greet,” he tweeted.

The video showed the elderly guy talking to his wife while she was now on life support and fighting for her life.
According to a recent report by CNN, 80 percent of the coronavirus victims are over 60.
