The foreigner who was seen collapsing in an Ermita, Manila street was a drunk Korean national and not a novel coronavirus patient.
A netizen shared the photo of the collapsed man asking for help. He also said that the man was shivering before collapsing on the street, one of the false information being linked to the coronavirus.
The man even went to the barangay hall to get back his belongings.
The incident happened amid concerns on the novel coronavirus outbreak which has killed over 300 individuals globally.
