Man in UAE faces trial for trespassing in his own home

The Fujairah Court is now hearing the case of a man for trespassing into his own house.
The man has been barned to enter his house due to family disputes.
In a report on the Khaleej Times, records showed that the case started when the man had a heated argument with his wife. When the husband left for work, the wife filed a case in a court against him.
The man went home and was shocked to find out about the case filed by his wife against him. He was accused of being a trespasser into his own house.
The litigation was moved to the Fujairah Misdemeanour Court, and the husband denied that he trespassed anyone’s house.
“I was staying at my own house, which I own, and stayed there for some time after my week-long work,” he said.
The husband added that he was not aware of the case filed by his wife.
“I could not imagine that our normal family dispute would end in court and that my wife would file these two cases against me,” he said
The court has ordered the man to bring a work certificate to prove that he was on duty when the court ruling was issued.
The judge has ordered the adjournment of the case while the husband waits for the certificate.
