DOH: No confirmed case of 2019-nCoV in PH; 24 people under investigation

The Department of Health has confirmed that there are still no cases of the 2019 novel coronavirus (2019-ncov) in the country in a press briefing held on Wednesday.
Health Secretary Francisco Duque said that there are only 23 people now under investigation for possible infection of the deadly virus.

Duque said that there’s still no confirmed case of the virus and they are still waiting for the confirmatory test results from samples from six patients in Australia.
17 of the persons under investigation for the Wuhan coronavirus are in Manila.
2 persons are being monitored in Central Visayas, and one each in Western Visayas, Eastern Visayas, Mimaropa and Davao.

The DOH added that they are now considering screening travellers from Hubei province and not only those coming from Wuhan.
Duque told the public to remain calm but stay vigilant.
