The Philippine Coast Guard rescued trapped locals along with their pet dogs in Talisay in a rescue operation on January 15 morning.
The distressed residents hurried to a boat of the PCG as they carried their pet dogs to safety.

Meanwhile, netizens praised the act of kindness done by the PCG.
Others thanked the PCG for their concern to the dogs since some of them were left by their owners at the time the Taal volcano erupted.
PCG continues to conduct rescue operations to save the lives of the locals who are still trapped within the vicinity of the Taal volcano.
