A Bahraini court sentenced a local man to 3 years in prison for punching a policeman, causing him to lose a few teeth.
Police arrested the man for assaulting the cop along with two other men who used a sharp object to hit the cop on the head.
One of them then lifted his head and punched him on the mouth, causing him to lose a few front teeth, according to Akhbar Al Khaleej daily.
It said incident occurred on a road while the policeman was organizing traffic, adding that the two others are still at large.
The policeman was taken to hospital with lost teeth and an injured head, it said, without mentioning why the three assaulted the cop.
