Twins in US born in different dates, years, and decades

It was a night of surprise for a couple based in the US as their twins were born on different dates, years, and decades.
In a report by CNN’s affiliate WBNS, Dawn Gilliam and Jason Tello of Pendleton Indiana got the shock of their lives when their twins were born on different dates—one on the New Year’s Eve, and the other, after the clock struck midnight to 2020.
The twins, named Joslyn and Jaxon, weren’t due until February 19, but Gillian was rushed to the hospital on December 31 about a lack of fetal movement.
One of the twins, Joslyn, was then born at exactly 11:37 PM on New Year’s Eve in 2019. Half an hour later, Jaxon came out at 12:07 AM on January 1, 2020—giving him a completely different birthday and year than his twin sister. Both of them are still on the feeding tube and would have to stay at the hospital for some time due to their premature status, but the couple were assured they are going to be fine.
The parents expressed their happiness and excitement about their twins’ interesting birth.
“Earlier, we talked about it would be great to have them born on different dates. But here we are with this surprise—different dates, different years. That was definitely interesting for us for sure. We’re still kind of speechless still,” WBNS quoted Tello as saying.
