Abu Dhabi Toll Gates Traffic System announced a three-month grace period for motorists who experienced problems in registering their vehicles for the toll gate system.
The Department of Municipalities and Transport (DMT) and Integrated Transport Centre (ITC) posted an advisory about a three-month grace period, which would allow motorists to register their respective vehicles and to settle the balance in their accounts.
The authorities clarified that those unregistered vehicles wouldn’t be fined if they passed through the toll gates during non-peak hours.

All vehicles that would passed through the toll gates during peak hours, meanwhile, must be registered on the ITC website.
The registration would cost Dh100, of which Dh50 would be transferred back to the motorist’s account for toll charges.
