LOOK: Famous sports stars meet with Sheikh Hamdan over the weekend

Two famous sports athletes came by to UAE over the weekend and met with Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai.

In their Instagram accounts, footballer Cristiano Ronaldo and tennis star Novak Djokovic shared photos of their meeting with the Crown Prince of Dubai.

“Always great to see you my friend,” Ronaldo wrote on his caption.

“It was great catching up with you! I wish you the best of luck,” Sheikh Hamdan also wrote in response.

Djokovic, meanwhile, commended Sheikh Hamdan’s passion for sports.

“On my path I have met many enthusiasts who love sports, but you @faz3 have raised passion and commitment and respect for sport to another level. Love your work and I am happy to be of service on that fantastic mission of yours to bring love for sports closer to people,” he wrote.

Sheikh Hamdan also responded in his Instagram stories by thanking him for his kind words.

“It was indeed nice seeing you too. Keep doing what you do and people will be inspired by sports, just like the millions you have inspired around the globe already!”

Djokovic also shared videos of light moments with Ronaldo on his Instagram account.
