Robredo calls for unity, forgiveness, compassion on Christmas Day

Vice President Leni Robredo said Christmas is a special time for Filipinos.

This season means reunion and an opportunity for Filipinos to be together in this time of the year.

“Bata man o matanda, bakas sa mukha ng bawat isa ang tuwa na para bang walang problema ang hindi natin kayang lagpasan,” Robredo said in a statement.

The Vice President also called on Filipinos that beyond the festivities, compassion, empathy and forgiveness are the season’s greatest gifts.

Robredo added that despite differences in faith and beliefs, unity must prevail in good times and bad.

The Vice President said at the end of the day, truth shall prevail above anything else.
