Manila Mayor Isko Moreno revealed that he has a lot to be thankful for this year apart from being the capital city’s top official.
Moreno said being part of the Metro Manila Film Festival “3pol Trobol: Huli Ka Balbon” with Coco Martin made this Christmas celebration extra special.
“Siyempre ipinag-papasalamat ko sa Diyos kasi kung nasaan man ako ngayon, kung ano man ang katayuan ko, malaking bahagi noon siyempre katuwang ang Diyos,” Moreno said in an interview with ABS-CBN News.
“You know what happened to me, I considered it as divine intervention. I came from nothing, from the gutter of society,” he added.
Moreno assured Manila residents he will continue to help including children with needs.
“I cannot return those to God directly, so in my own little way, if I can give back, I will,” Moreno said.
