Airlines urge passengers in Philippines to arrive early at airport during holiday peak season

Cebu Pacific and Cebgo issued an advisory for their passengers especially those bound towards international destinations to allot an extra time when arriving to the airport.

This would give the passengers an extra time for tight airport security since this month is a peak travel season.

Cebu Pacific encourages its passengers to arrive at the airport 3 hours earlier before their scheduled departure time for international flights while it recommends 2 hours for those bound for domestic flights.

Passengers can check the airline’s website to know the status of their flights.

Passengers can also do mobile or online check-ins 7 days or at least 4 hours before scheduled departure.

Once done with online check-in, passengers can immediately proceed to the boarding gates if they don’t have any luggage or drop it on baggage drop counters.

Passengers must be at the boarding gates 30 minutes before the flight except for Dubai, which requires passengers to be 45 minutes early.
