Hotel of Asia Inc. (HOA) the hotel arm of DoubleDragon Properties Corp., has moved a step closer for the finalization of its hotel resort in Boracay.
The Hotel 101 Resort Boracay is expected to become the largest green hotel to rise in the Philippines.
HOA revealed it has engaged Barone International being its sustainability consultant in its application for the LEED Gold certification.
DoubleDragon Chairman Edgar “Injap” Sia II said the hotel will rise on a two-hectare property on a beachfront cove and support environment-friendly operations as well as sustainable tourism.
“This new eco-friendly greenergized resort project in Boracay puts forward our grand vision to be a major player in the hotel and resorts industry in the country,” Sia said.
“The company has gone a step further in developing Hotel 101 Resort Boracay truly sustainable and green hotel,” he also added.
Hotel 101 is DoubleDragon’s hotel brand which has branches in Pasay City, Taguig City, and Davao City.
