The Bicameral conference committee yesterday finalized the report of the proposed Php4.1-trillion budget for 2020.
The members of the joint panel signed and approved the proposed 2020 General Appropriations Act during their meeting at Manila Polo Club in Makati City.
Davao City (3rd District) Rep. Isidro Ungab, House appropriations committee chair said they adopted the bicam report on Tuesday evening.
“Day and night we met. It was a long, two-week hard work and last night we finally finalized the bicam report,” he said.
“Since most of the members signed it already, I consider it adopted.”
The bicam report will now move to the Lower and Upper Chambers of Congress for ratification before heading to President Duterte for action.
