A woman ended up spending a night in Mabolo, Cebu jail after berating and assaulting a promodizer on Saturday, December 7, 2019.
Local police identified the attacker as Medelina Yamazaki, a native of Negros Occidental, reported SunStar Cebu.
The incident was caught on cam and has gone viral on social media platforms.
The commotion started when the victim, identified as Jennifer Fabillar, told Yamazaki not to let her baby touch the items displayed.
According to Mabolo Police Chief Major Dindo Alaras, the latter was seen throwing items at Fabillar, one of which landed on her face.
Fabillar sustained a wound in the lower left eye and a bruise on her cheek.
“The promodizer of the fragrance stall complained that a humidifier was thrown at her. Accordingly, they were having a misunderstanding regarding the use of the said unit and the customer suddenly flew into a rage and threw it at her,” Alaras told SunStar Cebu.
Yamazaki was also heard threatening the promodizer.
She then left the incident with her Japanese husband.
The incident was reported to the police and they arrested Yamazaki last Sunday, December 8 in her condo unit.
She was arrested by the Mabolo Police.
The promodizer has filed multiple charges including physical injury against the woman.
