An agitated man aboard a British Airways flight bound for Saudi Arabia tried to open the plane’s exit door due to panic attack.
The event happened an hour after BA flight 263 left Heathrow and on its way to Riyadh, reported The Guardian.
He attempted to pull the lever on the door at the back of the plane while screaming “I want to get out” in broke English, according to a passenger.
One passenger grabbed the man and repeatedly told him to ‘calm down’.
Air stewards quickly rush in to help calm the man and was eventually brought him back to his seat.
“Our cabin crew cared for a customer who suffered from a panic attack during the flight. We are sorry for any concern this caused our customers,” British Airways said in a statement.
