Student raped inside home by robber who took Php2-million worth of valuables

A female college student was raped and lost Php2 million worth of jewelry, gadgets, and cash after she was robbed inside her room in Paranaque City on early Friday morning, police reported.

The victim, identified by the report as “Cristy,” was crying when she sought help at the Paranaque City Police.

According to a report by Abante Tonite, the suspect first entered the room of Cristy’s brother Mark on the second floor of their house inside a subdivision in Barangay Don Bosco.

The robber tied his brother and covered his mouth before he raped the victim.

The suspect was able to open the drawer and the cabinet where he took the luxury watches worth Php1.9 million, Php50,000 cash and Php105,000 worth of digital camera were kept.

He also stole three laptops and two high-end cell phones worth P295,000.

The police are reviewing CCTV camera footages to identify the suspect.
