An Emirati was killed and his brother was seriously injured during a fight that broke out in Kalba, Sharjah on Tuesday.
Sharjah Police said they were interrogating those involved in the scuffle to determine its cause and the persons responsible.
Newspapers quoted a police spokesman as saying several men were involved in the fight that resulted in “the death of one man and the injury of another.”
“One man was rushed to hospital after suffering serious injuries during the fight,” the Arabic language daily Al Khaleej said, adding that police were awaiting a forensic report about the dead man.
