UAE leaders, rulers condole with Saudi King on brother’s passing

His Highness President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan has sent a cable of condolences to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of Saudi Arabia on the death of his brother Prince Miteb bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.

“His Highness Sheikh Khalifa expressed his heartfelt condolences and prayed to Allah the Almighty to rest his soul in Paradise and grant Al Saud Family solace and patience,” says a release from the Emirates News Agency (WAM).

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, have also sent their similar cables of condolences to King Salman.

H.H. Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman, H.H. Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, H.H. Sheikh Saud bin Rashid Al Mu’alla, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Umm Al Qaiwain, H.H. Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and H.H. Sheikh Nasser bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Deputy Ruler of Ajman, H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, H.H. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Salem bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, and H.H. Sheikh Rashid bin Saud bin Rashid Al Mu’alla, Crown Prince of Umm Al Qaiwain also sent their cable of condolences to King Salman.

The funeral prayers on the soul of Prince Miteb bin Abdulaziz Al Saud will be done today at Imam Turki mosque in Riyadh and following Isha (evening) prayer on the same day at the holy mosque in Makkah, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
