Windsurfing, sailing, canoe-kayak events postponed due to Tisoy

Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games)  organizers have postponed windsurfing, sailing and canoe-kayak events due to bad weather brought by Typhoon Kammuri (Tisoy).

The windsurfing, sailing and canoe-kayak competition were supposed to start today in Subic Bay.

But SEA Games organizers and Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA) decided to reschedule the two events after they were told by state weather forecasters from Pagasa that Typhoon Tisoy would land between Monday evening and Tuesday morning.

Prior to making a landfall, Tisoy could bring strong winds and occasional to frequent heavy rains. 

Windsurfing, sailing and canoe-kayak competition will be rescheduled as soon as the weather clears.

Other 30th Sea Games events that were originally scheduled for tomorrow may be postponed as well. These are:
1. Surfing in La Union
2. Petanque in Clark
3. Sailing in Clark
4. Shooting in Clark
5. Baseball/ softball in Clark
6. Beach volleyball in Subic
7. Polo in Calatagan, Batangas
8. Skate boarding in Tagaytay
9. Football in Binan, Laguna
