The Philippine national team for women’s sepak takraw reaped the gold medal in the 30th Southeast Asian (SEA) Games.
The women’s team defeated Indonesia, 670-660, in the competition held at the Subic Gymnasium, Sunday.
The gold in sepak takraw added another feather in the cap of the Philippines which is currently leading the regional meet.
The women’s team is composed of Deseree Autor, Josefina Maat, Sarah Jean Kalalo, Allysa Bandoy, Mary Melody Taming, and Abegail Sinogbuh.
