Philippine Airlines (PAL) has recorded the highest on-time performance (OTP) among Filipino airline companies for flights leaving Manila, the company said in a statement.
The OTP record set by PAL was for the second half of 2019.
In a statement released by PAL, the mainline services of the flag carrier has registered a 92 percent on-time flights in October both for international and domestic flights.
For July, August and September 2019, PAL posted a steadily increasing OTP of 80 percent, 82 percent, and 89 percent, respectively.
This is seven points among its competitors. For 2019 PAL maintained an average of 15 points higher from other airlines.
OTP is gauge through the number of departure and arrivals that take place in less than 15 minutes.
