Vice President Leni Robredo said that President Rodrigo Duterte should tell her directly if he wants her out as co-chair of the inter-agency committee on anti-illegal drugs (ICAD).

This following Duterte’s statement that he doesn’t trust her.

“Eh dapat deretsuhin na lang ako. Deretso naman ako kausap. Kung ayaw niya ako dito in the first place, bakit ako in-appoint?

Robredo, on the other hand, said that she would not quit on the job given to her.

“It is always worth working for something we believe in.

Robredo was appointed as ICAD chair following her remarks that there’s a need to tweak the war on drugs.
