Two Filipinas, who were involved in molestation and illegal recruitment cases in Erbil, are finally coming back home to the Philippines.

The Philippine Embassy in Iraq, through their Facebook page, thanked those who helped them in the resolution of these cases.

“After a long wait, tonight they are flying home to the Philippines. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts,” the post of the Embassy read.

They also thanked members of the Filipino Community in Baghdad who visited the Embassy on Tuesday. They brought clothes and toiletries for victims of trafficking who are still under the Embassy’s custody.

Meanwhile, the Philippine Embassy in Iraq has reminded the Filipinos of the risks in dealing with illegal recruiters.

In a post on Sunday, they warned that most of these recruiters post job hirings on social media with the tagline “Free Visa, Free Flight Ticket, No Processing Fee!!!”.
