UAE authorities have warned residents to take extra precaution as bad weather is expected to continue this week.
In a tweet, the National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority advised people to follow safety instructions due to unstable weather conditions to avoid damage to
life and property.
“During expected weather variability: We encourage the public to follow the instructions issued by the official authorities in order to preserve lives and properties #AwarenessMessage#NCEMA,” the weather bureau said in a tweet,
The agency also said that rain with thunder and lightning is expected this week. Winds can be as strong as 70kmph.
Rough seas can still be expected, temperature drops at 9°C.
