The Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (Pagcor) has yesterday resumed its processing of applications for medical assistance.
In a statement, PAGCOR said it is now working with Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) in verifying medical assistance requests.
“PAGCOR will resume accepting medical assistance requests that will first be endorsed to PCSO for verification,” the statement said.
“Under the arrangement, PAGCOR will be able to tap the assistance of PCSO, which has more human and organizational resources and experience in processing requests for medical assistance,” the statement added.
Last week, PAGCOR said it will be suspending applications of medical financial assistance after following alleged fraud and false claims on financial assistance requests.
