SWS: Four out of 10 Filipinos say their lives have improved

Some 36 percent of Filipino adults or four out of 10 Filipinos believed their lives have improved in the third quarter of the year, according to Social Weather Stations (SWS).

The nationwide survey was conducted from September 27 to 30 with 1,800 respondents.

The SWS found that the lives of 36 percent of adult Filipinos have improved.

Some 25 percent however said that their lives have worsened.

The SWS classified this as “very high.” But this is lower compared to the survey in June and in March.

There has been a 10-point decrease from the Visayas, six-point decrease from Luzon and an increase of eight points in Mindanao on the number of respondents who rated their lives in 2019’s third quarter.

College graduates have registered+22 (excellent) points, high school graduates recorded a +17 points while elementary graduates have +2 points.
