An Indian man went into a public toilet in Kuwait and used a shaving blade to slash his wrist artery but he was rushed to hospital and saved.
Police hurried to the area after they were called by toilet users who saw the man trying to end his life.
Newspapers said the man was in a bad shape when police arrived, adding that they snatched the blade off his hand and rushed him to hospital.
Doctors said the unnamed Indian was in a stable condition while police said they would question him when he gets better.
