Dubai Police reminded drivers about road courtesies when they happen to pass by school zones or crosswalks.
In a post on Twitter, Dubai Police advised motorists that they should not overtake other vehicles or even change lanes when in these areas.
Their reminder came following the reported accidents that happened near school zones.
Last week a four-year-old girl died while her mother was injured after they were run over by a reversing car in front of a school in Jebel Ali.
At the start of the school year, the Dubai Police also issued a strict warning on this citing they may face fines or black points if they violate it.
