Dubai police arrested an Asian restaurant waitress on charges of forging a letter from her employer in order to obtain a driving license.
After her employer refused to give her that letter, a key condition for getting a driving license in the UAE, the girl resigned from her job.
A few days later, her employer saw her driving a car. Suspecting she had done something wrong, he reported her to the police.
After arresting her, police found that she has a driving license but discovered that an employer letter she had submitted to obtain the license was forged.
“The girl confessed she forged the letter to obtain a driving license… the prosecutor referred her to the criminal court on charges of forging official documents,” the Arabic language daily Al Bayan said.
