A fish with a human-like face left a visitor to a village in southern China stunned.
The short video clip shows a carp with the markings of what resembled to be a human’s mouth, nose, and eyes on its head.
The 15-second video went viral after it was posted on Weibo, China’s equivalent to Twitter.
In a report by the Daily Mirror, it was said that the woman who filed the video discovered the fish on Nov. 7 when she visited Miao Village, a tourist destination in the city of Kunming.
However, this is not the first time such a discovery was made.
In 2010, there was a reported sighting of ‘human-faced carp’ in Britain.
In the following year, another black and white carp was also spotted with the same feature in north-eastern Taiwan’s Yilan County.
