Manila Mayor Isko Moreno made an early inspection on Monday morning and he did not like what he saw when he made rounds in Divisoria.
In a series of tweets shared by Manila Public Information Office, Moreno has expressed his disappointment over the piles of garbage found in Divisoria.
Wala, walang kus,” Moreno told vendors upon seeing tons of trash on the streets.
The mayor then said that there’s an existing city ordinance which mandates Manila residents to clean up their trash.
Due to his disappointment, Moreno then ordered another ban on vendors along Divisoria streets.
Vendors in Ylaya Street in Binondo will no longer be allowed to sell their goods because of their failure to clean their surroundings.
“Tatanggalin natin sila.
