Prominent Duterte supporter and Overseas Workers Welfare Administration Deputy Administrator Mocha Uson said that the public should give Vice President Leni Robredo the chance to do good on her appointment as co-chairperson of the Inter-Agency Committee on Anti-Illegal Drugs (ICAD).
“Give her a chance! Di ba, give her a chance. Kasi lahat naman tayo dito kailangan magtulungan po tayo. So sabi nga ng mga netizens, it’s your time to shine,” Uson told GMA News.
Vice President Robredo took on the challenge of leading the drug war and said that it’s an opportunity to stop tue killings.
“Ang pinakamahalagang konsiderasyon para sa akin ay simple lang: Kung ito ang pagkakataon para matigil ang patayan ng mga inosente at mapanagot ang mga kailangang managot, papasanin ko ito. Tinatanggap ko ang trabaho na ibinigay ng Pangulo,” Robredo explained.
Uson said that accepting President Rodrigo Duterte’s offer is considered ‘good news’ because she can work together with Duterte.
“Maganda po siguro na ngayon, magtrabaho na po si VP Leni at makipagtulungan na po kay Pangulong Duterte as vice president para sugpuin po yung problema sa droga,”Uson said.
