An Indian national is now a millionaire after he won the latest Big Ticket draw on November 3.
The 28-year-old Sreenu Sreedharan Nair has won the Dh15 million jackpot.
However, according to the report from Gulf News, he will only receive Dh750,000 or five percent of the jackpot.
Nair, with ticket number 098165, shares the ticket with 21 other colleagues in his company. He paid Dh25 of the Dh500 priced ticket.
In an interview with Gulf News, Nair shared that he could not believe he actually won.
Nair’s ticket was picked up from Draw number 209.
It was only last Monday when organizers were able to call and inform Nair of the good news.
Nair said that he will use the money to help him complete the construction of his home in Allepey, Kerala.
