Facebook Inc. has announced on Monday that a new logo was launched so the company can be distringuished from its apps.
The new logo features plain capital letters, rather than the blue “f” that has been associated with the company.
“Today, we’re updating our company branding to be clearer about the products that come from Facebook,” Facebook said in a blog post.
The company’s products and marketing materials will also be bearing the new brand while the Facebook for Business website also be updated over the coming weeks.
It was in June when the social media company began including “from Facebook” within its apps that includes Messenger, Instagram and WhatsApp.
