Sales agent faces trial for entering houses without permission

A Fujairah court is now hearing the case of an Asian sales agent for alleged trespassing.

Court records showed the complainant filed a case against the man after he reportedly trespassed his house and his neighbor’s, Khaleej Times reported.

“I heard somebody knocking on my internal door after entering from the main door. I sent him back, and followed him only to discover that he entered the house of my neighbor, and knocked on the internal door after passing through the main gate,” the complainant said.

The man denied the charges and insisted that he was only working as sales agent and delivered the shipment.

“I came to the reported houses to deliver some shipment, and never had any intention to trespass on others’ properties,” the defendant said.

The man said there has been no trespassing case filed against him despite working as sales agent in the UAE for a long time.

The Fujairah Court of First Instance found the young sales agent not guilty, and cleared him of the trespassing charges.

The prosecution however challenged the ruling in the High Court.

The court has adjourned the trial next week and will be issuing a ruling. (TN)
